On the top of Cerkno
We've had another weekend full of adrenaline. This time on Cerkno where mountain-bike downhill racers rode their bikes to the edge of its abilities and tested their skills. Of course, Unior Tools Team also participated.
Perhaps you are asking yourself why do we write about this event at Toper website. Well, Unior Tools team has a lot in common with the legendary Slovenian clothing brand – Toper.
First of all, it is all about cycling.
Secondly, our striving desire for outdoor activities, personal growth.
And at last but not the least, we also identify ourselves with Toper slogan "Always on top" which summarizes our sports aspirations very well. Therefore, we are very glad Toper has recently become our partner.
Besides, our Unior Tools team has really been "on top" of everybody this weekend. Our members, Nejc Rutar, Žiga Pandur and Maria Michalogiannaki raced at the third Slovenian Downhill Cup and outraced all competitors!
Together they achieved two first places and one second place. The race itself was professionally very well organized including with the technically well set up advanced track and lots of fans watching and cheering. "We all wish for more races like this one", spoke Nejc, Grega and Maria all in one voice.
The weather was warm and sunny therefore the team did not need warm Toper jackets. However in few days the warm jackets will be very useful.
This weekend we are traveling to chilly Scotland where Unior Tools team will compete at a World Cup race.
It will almost feel like a home race since one of our team members is Englishman - Harry Heath, who expects a lot from this race at Fort William.
We hope to report good news and that we once again, together with Toper, reach the top in Scotland. Before anybody else does, anyhow.
